June Bug is a female gray tabby kitten about 14 weeks old as of 8/1/16.   She is spayed and vaccinated.  There were 5 babies found outside and caught at about 9 weeks old.  They did not have much contact with humans but have come a long way.  They love foster mom and can learn to love another family as well with time and patience. June Bug is work in progress but can become  that special girl that fits right in to a loving, patient home.  She seems to be the most shy and the runt of the group as is still smaller than the rest. She loves to play with toys and her siblings.  


 She will need  reassurance she is safe and no longer have to fend for food.  To start she might need a place in your home where she cannot hide, where she can  bond with you by playing wand toys and other fun games, cuddling and sharing wet food.  She will get used to your house hold noises and slowly come out of her shell.  Eventually she will forget the old fearful ways and gain confidence you instill in while bonding with her.  If you are truly looking to rescue a kitten start here with one that needs to learn how good an indoor home can be.  Also, typically, kittens love to play so much they make excellent playmates for other kittens and playful cats with careful introductions.

ADOPTION FEES:    




Dogs:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, including rabies shot, fecal, and heartworm test.  If dog has not received these services, you will be responsible for taking the dog within 30 days to Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  




Puppies in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $125 and Females - $150.  This includes 4 sets of vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter/rabies shot thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If puppy is too young to be altered within 30 days, approximate time for spay/neuter will be set based on age.




 Cats:  Males - $75 and Females - $100 – This fee includes spay/neuter, fecal and vaccinations (FVRCP-FELK and Rabies) thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If cat is not altered, spay/neuter appointment must be set within 30 days of adoption or based on kittens’ age.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




 Kittens in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes two sets of vaccinations (8-10 wks & 12 weeks + rabies shot), deworming, and spay/neuter when old enough thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
